  • AI can simulate empathy. But it can’t feel the butterflies.

AI can simulate empathy. But it can’t feel the butterflies.

The more the machine mimics connection, the more sacred the real thing becomes.

The Context

We now live in a world where:

  • AI can write a love letter

  • Simulate a sigh

  • Whisper “You’re not alone” in your preferred voice

 …and yet?

The heart knows the difference between simulation and soul .

The GTM Tie-In

As AI enters every part of your go-to-market system, from outbound to onboarding to customer care, it gets harder to tell what’s real. And it will only become harder, as AI matures.

We’re not just automating messages.

We’re automating moments.

 But here’s the tactical warning:

When everything sounds personalized…

Nothing feels personal.

Tactical Insight: Real Resonance Can’t Be Faked

 Here’s what we’ve learned:

  • GPT can detect emotional tone

  • AI agents can surface “sentiment shifts” in buyer language

  • LLMs can notice when a buyer says “I’m fine” and mean “I’m overwhelmed”

But only a human can turn toward that signal and say:

“Tell me more.”

The Risk of Synthetic Empathy in GTM

If we train our systems to simulate care, but we don’t build the relational infrastructure to follow through… we’re not building loyalty.

We’re creating emotional dissonance.

  • Your AI said “We’re here for you.”

  • But no one followed up.

  • And your buyer felt the disconnect.

Result? You didn’t just lose a deal. You lost trust.

Tactical Prompt for GTM Teams

 Instead of asking:

“How do we personalize this email?”

 Try asking:

“What truth are we sensing in the buyer’s voice,  and how do we turn toward it?”

This is the future of real connection in a synthetic world.

Final Thought

AI can say: “You are safe.”

But only a human can hear the heartbreak behind a soft “I’m fine”… and stay.

Let your tech scale the signal.

Let your people hold the soul.

That’s the Revenue Creator way.

CREATOR DNA DROP #06

“I don’t automate empathy. I train my systems to recognize signal, but I stay human enough to respond with presence.”

“Because butterflies can’t be scripted.

And trust doesn’t scale through fake care.”

Why This Matters

In the era of AI-generated everything, it’s tempting to let the machine feel for you.

But here’s the truth:

AI can detect sentiment.

But only you can respond with soul.

Every buyer, partner, teammate, you included, is carrying emotional signal.

But if all your systems do is respond with templated care…

Then you’re not building trust.

You’re mimicking it.

What Happens When You Fake the Feeling

  • “Hope you’re doing well!” = Empty calories

  • “We’re here for you” = Sounds supportive… until no one follows up

  • “Hi [FirstName], just checking in” = Not presence. Just performance

Simulated empathy is worse than silence.

Because it promises to see you, but never actually does.

The Real Move?

Train your AI to listen.

Train your people to respond.

Let your systems surface the soft signal:

  • The hesitation in a response

  • The shift in tone

  • The absence that used to mean presence

And when you see it?

Don’t automate the answer.

Be the one who notices. And stays.

The Revenue Creator’s Role

You don’t outsource care.

You design containers for it.

You don’t scale hugs.

You make room for human tempo inside GTM flows.

 You don’t just “check in.”

You check for signal, and build a system that honors it.

Mantra for the Week:

I don’t just build revenue engines.

I build trust loops.

Because butterflies aren’t bugs in the system.

They’re proof that something real is happening.

Sameness Hall of Shame

Where tired tactics go to die, and legends are reborn.

Last week, we dragged Content Calendar Cosplay.

This week?

We’re holding a séance for a strategy that refuses to stay dead:

This Week’s Offender:

Playbook Necromancy

Why you’re still running 2021 motions like they’re not already ghosts.

 Let’s call it:

  • The 10-step outbound sequence that once worked on Series A founders

  • The onboarding flow written during peak PLG hype

  • That demand gen campaign you’ve “tweaked” 12 times since COVID

  • The persona slides that haven’t updated since SDRs wore headsets

You know it’s expired.

But the team keeps summoning it back.

Because… “it worked once.”

Or worse: “we already built it.”

The Problem:

Playbook Necromancy is the art of reanimating dead GTM tactics…

and pretending the market doesn’t notice the smell.

You’re not scaling strategy.

You’re re-running residue.

Why it happens:

  • Legacy logic feels safe

  • Tool inertia is real

  • And no one wants to admit the funnel is haunted

Here’s what we say:

  • If your GTM motion is older than your ICP, burn it.

  • If your “best practice” still includes cold nurture emails, release it.

  • If your SDR playbook requires roleplay but not resonance, let it go.

    Rebuild It with Soul

Ask yourself:

  • What’s changed about the market since this playbook was written?

  • What signal are we ignoring because “this has always worked”?

  • What motion do we fear, because it hasn’t been proven yet?

Start fresh with:

  • A truth-led GTM thesis (why we move the way we do)

  • An updated belief-backed buyer journey

  • Agentic systems that adapt to now, not 2021

Try this instead:

Instead of:

 “Let’s A/B test the old Q4 reactivation flow again…”

Try:

“Let’s build a mid-funnel experience rooted in curiosity, not conversion, and see who still leans in.”

Now you’re not just testing.

You’re thinking.

Now you’re not reviving the dead.

You’re resurrecting meaning.

Got a dusty deck or zombie funnel still haunting your pipeline?

We’ll roast it with love, and help redesign it with signal.

Next Week:

“Thought Leader Theater” - When your POV is just another polished echo of someone else’s post.

Let’s make marketing dangerous again.

Let’s stop raising the dead.

Let’s build GTM that actually lives. 😏

“The plan was solid. The dashboard said green. So why didn’t we hit the number?”

Everyone’s chasing growth in 2025, yet most revenue teams are stuck repeating the same execution breakdowns.

On paper, the strategy looks tight. But behind the scenes? Misalignment, noise, and outdated ops are quietly derailing progress.

That’s why in a live session (June 26th), we’re unpacking what’s really holding back revenue execution—and how top teams are breaking the cycle.

🔥 Featuring new insights from Xfactor.io’s 2025 State of Predictable Growth report.

Confession of the Week

Hi, my name is Craig. And I used to think a good kickoff or a one-time strategy meeting was enough to keep everyone aligned.

But here’s what I’ve learned:
Ongoing communication from the top down is everything.

Clear, specific, and inspiring weekly alignment, paired with accountability that supports, not shames, is what actually keeps teams on track.

The takeaway?
Strategy fades without rhythm.
And culture breaks without clarity.

“Deliverability isn’t a setting. It’s a system.”

You can’t fix outbound problems with volume—or warmup hacks alone.

What surfaced this week: if your domains burn, it’s rarely just about sending limits. It’s about the infrastructure behind the motion—where you buy, how you sequence, and the fingerprints you leave behind.

💬 As Namit Jindal put it:

“I lost 400 domains in one go. Same credit cards, same panel - burned together.”

This is Revenue Creator DNA:
Know the system you’re scaling. Or risk scaling failure faster.
