GTM by day, founders by night.
The thread that turned our community into a Demo Day.
What are you building on the side?
Something caught my attention while reviewing new member profiles. A lot of people joining RevGenius, folks with solid day jobs at great companies are listing themselves as founders for something they're building on the side.
That signal has been growing. So I asked the community straight up.
The thread ran past midnight catalysing our community into a Demo Day. Turns out the builder economy inside this community is bigger than I thought.
The most substantive build in the thread
Demet Dagdelen came with receipts. Back in 2019 she ran geo experiments on WordPress.com's paid media spend tens of millions a year and found 90% of it was non-incremental. Sales would have happened anyway. They stopped all advertising for 2.5 years and rebuilt the entire marketing strategy around geo experimentation.
At the time that required an in-house engineering team, data science, ML, and MLOps. Now she's building a knowledge-base-in-a-box and proactive AI agent that makes that infrastructure accessible without all the overhead.
The build solving a problem every AE recognizes
Jonayed Tanjim kept watching deals stall because reps couldn't map the buying group or figure out who actually holds power inside an account. So he builds Dealtree, generates an org chart of the target company, surfaces who has real influence or buying authority, and suggests who to multi-thread with.
Still early. Still validating. Already has 12 waitlist signups from RevGenius members iterating on the feedback.
Built in 2 hours on a weekend
Gururaj Pandurangi is working on ThriveStack, bridging the gap between vibe-coding a new app and actually building a growth engine behind it. Traffic, activation, revenue analytics, churn prediction, automated CSM, one feedback loop. He built the mock homepage in 2 hours on Google AI Studio, 10-25 prompts.
Soft launch in the next 1-2 weeks. The most complete take in the thread!

Built on napkin math that got out of hand
Kylor Johnson spent too many years as an AE doing commission math on napkins. So he built pipelinetopaycheck.com on nights and weekends — a free tool that shows reps what their deals are actually worth after taxes and deductions, and tells you which deals in your pipeline actually get you to your financial goals.
Documenting the whole build on Substack for anyone who wants to follow along.
The closing line that landed best.
Artur has been running VisualSitemaps as a side project for 8 years alongside his product studio. IBM, R/GA, Sapient on the client list.
Jared: "That's dedication."
Artur: "It's easier when most of it is...automated."
That's the thread in one line.
What are you building?
