If the Machine Can Work for You, Who Are You Without the Output?
Your value isn’t in what you produce. It’s in what you protect.
The Shift We’re Facing:
AI can do what your resume used to brag about:
Write the code
Send the sequence
Analyze the data
Personalize the follow-up
But it can’t ache. It can’t hold tension.
It can’t love. And it will never know how to be still and still matter .
The Old Model: Maslow’s Pyramid
Food, water, shelter
Safety
Belonging
Esteem
Self-actualization
That model made sense when survival required labor.
But now?
The machines do the labor.
And suddenly, self-worth can’t sit at the top anymore.
The New Model: Maslow, Rewritten for the AI Age
Soul Expression - What makes me irreplaceable?
Trust Fields - Where am I felt, not just seen?
Belonging - Who holds me when I’m not performing?
Emotional Sovereignty - Can I feel without being optimized?
Rhythmic Safety - Can I rest without falling behind?
We’re not climbing anymore.
We’re returning, to coherence, to rhythm, to truth.
The Real Crisis Isn’t Job Loss. It’s Identity Collapse.
The machine can write your pitch.
But it can’t hold your contradiction.
The machine can build a funnel.
But it can’t tell your team when it’s time to pause.
The machine can close the loop.
But it will never carry your soul.
So if capitalism no longer needs your labor…
What defines your worth?
That’s not a thought exercise.
That’s an economic survival question now.
For RevOps, Founders, and GTM Leaders:
If your AI is building the engine…
Make sure your humans still hold the ethic.
If your systems are scaling the content…
Make sure your team still carries the conviction.
If your metrics are humming…
Ask: Does this still feel like us? Or just efficient noise?
Closing Thought:
You are not a task list.
You are not a dashboard.
You are not a title.
You are rhythm.
You are resonance.
You are presence the machine cannot copy.
Let’s start acting like it.
CREATOR DNA DROP #05
“I don’t prove my value through output.
I root my worth in coherence.”
“What I protect is who I become.
What I create is sacred.
And what I refuse to automate? That’s where my humanity lives.”
Why This Matters
In a world where AI can produce everything,
the only thing that matters is what you protect.
Because the future will be filled with systems that can write, code, optimize, and perform.
But none of them can ask:
“Does this still feel like me?”
That question? That’s your superpower.
That’s the part of your intelligence that cannot be trained into a model.
This is your line in the sand:
I am not my productivity.
I am not my calendar.
I am not a list of deliverables.
I am the one who decides what gets built
And what stays sacred.
The Creator’s Role in the Age of AI:
You don’t automate everything. You automate what drains.
You don’t delegate your discernment. You sharpen it.
You don’t replace yourself. You remember why you were here in the first place.
Because if you don’t guard your presence, your system will forget you ever existed.
Mantra for the Week:
I protect what matters.
I don’t measure myself by what I produce.
I measure myself by what I preserve.
And when I say “no” to speed, it’s because I said “yes” to soul.
Say it. Live it. Build like it’s sacred.
Sameness Hall of Shame
Where tired tactics go to die, and legends are reborn.
Last week, we exposed the Vanity Metrics Masquerade.
This week?
We’re cracking open the glittery graveyard of meaningless motion:
This Week’s Offender:
Content Calendar Cosplay
When your marketing plan is just vibes, holidays, and borrowed templates.
You know the one:
“National Ice Cream Day” post
“Here are 4 lessons I learned from Beyoncé’s new album”
“It’s Q3, time to optimize your ops!” (what does that even mean?)
Carousel quote from someone on your team that sounds like ChatGPT wrote it in a rush
It looks like a content strategy.
It smells like a content strategy.
But it’s just… performance in pixels.
The Problem:
Content Calendar Cosplay is busywork in brand clothing.
It’s scheduled. It’s published. It’s consistent.
But it doesn’t say anything.
It doesn’t carry signal.
It doesn’t move meaning.
It doesn’t make anyone feel more seen.
Here’s what we say:
If your calendar has no spine, it’s just noise on a schedule.
If your messaging could be swapped with a competitor’s… you’re not cosplaying. You’re disappearing.
If your best-performing post was on “National Coffee Day,” you’ve got bigger problems.
Rebuild It with Soul
Ask:
What’s the belief behind this message?
What’s the emotional tension it resolves?
What moment in the buyer’s story does this actually serve?
Start with:
A soul-led narrative spine (movement, POV, villain, promise)
3–4 core themes grounded in customer truth
Content tied to buying energy, not posting energy
Try this instead:
Instead of:
“July is National Productivity Month!”
Say:
“Let’s talk about the lie beneath ‘busy = worthy’, and how GTM leaders are unlearning the hustle logic.”
Now you’ve got tension.
Now you’ve got signal.
Now you’ve got truth with a timestamp.
Got a calendar full of vibes but no spine?

We’ll roast it with love, and help rebuild it from meaning.
Next Week:
“Playbook Necromancy” - Why you’re still running 2021 motions like they’re not already ghosts.
Let’s make marketing dangerous again.
Let’s stop posting to prove we’re alive.
Let’s post to remind others they are too. 😏
Hall of Earners: Digital Chips Awarded
We’ve turned siloed conversations into one powerful stream by moving them into #chat-gtm—and the results speak for themselves. Bigger threads. Sharper insights. Real community momentum.
These legends moved differently this week:
The Signal Starter: Tyler Hakes - asked what to do with RB2B traffic. The question sparked a wave of smart, tactical replies and turned into a go-to thread on converting anonymous website visitors.
Consistency Queen: Heather Strout - showing up strong across the community with steady energy and presence over the last 7 days. A real one.
Navigator of Noise: Megan James - asked if switching from Salesloft to Gong or Outreach was worth it. The thread surfaced real migration experiences, pros/cons of each tool, and where AI agents actually fit (or don’t) in modern sales engagement.

“ABM is overhyped. Just another buzzword.”
ABM sounds great in theory.
But in practice, many teams are just rebranding their outbound efforts and calling it innovation.
That’s why in the next GTM Hot Takes episode, we’re challenging the playbook.
Is ABM truly strategic, or just marketing jargon with no real execution?

Creator’s Libray
“AI doesn’t replace sellers. It amplifies them.”
The AI SDR hype has been loud, but the real leaders in GTM are cutting through the noise with clarity:
AI isn’t here to do the job for you.
It’s here to make the real work more efficient, focused, and scalable.
Whether it’s automating research, surfacing intent signals, or handling outreach logic, the most effective AI setups treat AI as a co-pilot, not a stand-in.
💬 As Amos Bar Joseph put it:
“The real unlock isn’t AI replacing sellers, it’s AI amplifying human judgment, creativity, and relationship-building.”
This is Revenue Creator DNA:
Use tools to scale what makes you great, not to skip the work that makes it matter.
Confession of the week
Hi, my name is Mahak. And I used to think using AI meant leveling the playing field.
But here's what happened:
I took part in a survey for an article.
After that the editor messaged me to say:
"You're the only one who clearly didn’t just copy-paste from ChatGPT."
Turns out, everyone else’s responses sounded the same: AI-polished, but painfully predictable.
Mine stood out, not because I avoided AI, but because I used it with intention, not as a crutch.
The takeaway?
AI doesn’t replace voice. It amplifies it, if you actually have something to say.
In a sea of sameness, originality cuts through.
