The community’s verdict on finding the highest conversion potential:

→Hiring is the "Anchor" Signal. The consensus is clear: Hiring (e.g., for "Data Analysts") is the strongest signal because it proves budget and internal buy-in already exist. It isn't just intent; it's a "receipt" that the problem is real.

→Timing is Everything. Reach out before the new hire starts. The leadership team feels the pain most acutely while the seat is empty. Once the role is filled, the urgency to buy software often drops.

→Social & Reviews are for Research. Monitoring complaints on LinkedIn or "intent" on TrustRadius is great for sharpening your messaging (learning the language of the pain), but it often lacks the budget mandate needed to close deals.

→Funding is Just a Filter. Money in the bank doesn't equal urgency. Use funding data to filter your list, but rely on execution pressure (like hiring) to drive the actual outreach.

Bottom line: 
Don't chase vague interest. Anchor your strategy on hiring signals because they are the only proof that a company has money, a problem, and an owner ready to solve it right now. 🎯
